Ellie Jane Goulding was born in Hereford England on December 30 1986. Her mother Tracey Goulding-Summers was employed at the supermarket, while the father Arthur Goulding was a member of the family known as an undertaker. Goulding is the second of three children and has a brother named Alex and a sister who is older named Isabel and a younger sister named Jordan. Alex, Goulding's brother, plays bass. Also, he is an Hereford musician. Her mother to pursue a musical education when she was a young girl. Clarinet was her first instrument at the age of nine.
