Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore has been a Hollywood writer and actor for several years. Her work is also highly praised by reviewers. She's a Sagittarius born on December 3, 1960 in North Carolina. She is the oldest out of three children born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith who was a psychologist. She is of English and Scottish roots. Her father was an professional and often moved her family. She struggled with making and keeping friends. The family moved to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she began appearing in performances. Following the completion of her B.F.A. at Boston University in 1983, Moore continued to pursue further training. Thesis in Theater. In 1988 she played an actor on the show, and won an Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her cinematic debut in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later called an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), and 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her works. She received several nominations and was praised for the first film. Moore had her debut main role as a lead actress in Safe(1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore as the lead in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, one of the top grossing films of 1997, represented a huge moment in Moore's career. The actress received an SAG Awards nomination in Magnolia during 1999. The Hours, a 2002 film she costarred in with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Strreep received nominations for nine Academy Awards. Moore has also starred in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. She was also in Non-Stop (2014). Moore was in a variety of movies and television shows. The most recent role she has played was in the film When You Finish Saving the World (2022). She's established herself in Hollywood in addition to being an author of children's books that is successful. In 2007 she released Freckleface Strawberry and quickly became a N.Y.T. best-seller resulting in the adaptation into a series and a musical. In 2013, she released her book My Mom Is A Foreigner. In her career as a highly successful actress and author Moore's personal life has been made public. Moore married John Robin back in 1984 after which they divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two children together. Moore's life revolves around her colleagues, friends and family.
